Congrats, it’s usually not a simple or easy process. We have done years of work to “unpick” life in Aus and have been slow travelling since January. Eyes are set on SE Asia for a landing pad toward the end of the year. It’s so worthwhile to see it as an opportunity and exciting adventure for sure 😊

The Olas experience is a great example of this. I’ve received nutzaps into a brand new wallet without existing liquidity or requiring a custodial lightning wallet. Logged out, deleted app, reinstalled, reapplied nsec and the ecash is there again (I’m guessing from a relay!?) 🤯

In your opinion what are the best tech stack tools, languages and products to learn and use for developing a project on Nostr?
I have years of experience in SQL Server and backend C# but need to develop front end skills.
It’s probably time I learnt a new language, but want the time invested to be most worthwhile. I’m thinking PWA and/or cross platform app dev?
Please repost so others can help me with some guidance!

Something I’ve under estimated is how impactful running my own node has been to my Bitcoin experience.
Having run my own full node and used it exclusively for years now, the thought of not using my own node is unconscionable. I won’t have a permanent home this year and my home network set up has to be packed away. I’ve moved the important self hosted services to a VPS but I’ve gone to efforts to ensure I can have a family member keep my current node online for me. It just goes hand in glove with the Bitcoin user experience.
Don’t trust, verify.

There's no better feeling than selling shit you don't use and putting that cash straight into corn. It's like, if I need that thing again in years to come, I'll get a better quality one by then for my money, or I won't even repurchase it at all!

100% the way to go, I shall do the same.
I did an NVC course more than 15 years ago. I must admit I haven't always focused on the techniques but it's incredible how the concepts have revealed themselves in so much communication - it has certainly has a positive impact on me. And as Keysa so brilliantly explains in the pod, it dovetails perfectly with Bitcoin.

This isn’t even the best part. The reason I’ve started doing this is partly in solidarity with my son who is using it as a therapy as part of his toolkit to manage his epilepsy. He’s coming up to nearly 12 months seizure free. Of course it was talking with a bunch of Bitcoiners at a conference that inspired me to give it a try!
