Spinning up a self-custodial mainnet Lightning wallet has always been a pain. With the Lexe CLI, it's now only three commands:
$ curl -fsSL https://lexe.app/install-cli.sh | bash
$ lexe init
$ lexe create-invoice
You're now running a live mainnet Lightning node inside a secure enclave: always online, hosted for free, and only you hold the keys.

It handles BOLT 11 invoices, BOLT 12 offers, LNURL, Lightning Address, and Human Bitcoin Addresses (BIP 353). It's also compatible with both L402 and the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), Stripe's agentic payments standard: AI agents can pay HTTP 402 challenges, open MPP sessions, run continuous top-ups, and receive refunds, all paid with real Lightning. And most commands support JSON output, so it's easy to script.
Your wallet isn't locked to the CLI, either: control a Lexe app wallet from the command line with client credentials, or import a CLI-created wallet into the app with your seedphrase.
