Fiat is a liminal space for us between work and Bitcoin. The space of transition, ever searching for it's destination or next interaction, unsettled and unfinished. The time between entering and exiting, beginning and ending. It's the thing many work for and the thing they spend as quickly as they can, a transition, a liminal space. Work if you must for the destination, not the liminal space.

Great to see value-for-value taking off. Lightning still seems so new and here it is on a decentralized platform as a value response layer on top. Future use cases and adoption is unreal if we're at this already. LFG

I added the relay via Astral and since those settings carry over to all clients it seemed to be a work around. I also use Tailscale FWIW.

#[0] is doing a great job with Amethyst. Definitely worth checking out if you're on Android and looking for a solid client.

The signal in here is off the charts. The simplicity is brilliant. Timing couldn't be better.

Uncluttered and unstructured can lead to noise, not signal. It's also equally important when considering simplicity not to do so at a cost of structure. I do generally agree with your sentiment though.

Hoping for a Tweekdeck style web interface (its superior to the base Twitter interface single waterfall). Nostr feels like much more like signal (not the app) whereas Twitter is mostly noise. Much respect to the Nostr devs. The importance of the project can't be understated.

tweetdeck.twitter.com is vastly superior to twitter.com despite both being made by Twitter. Hoping to see a Tweetdeck style client/web interface for Nostr eventually. Tweetdeck has no adds and far better column/list viewing than the singular waterfall of Twitter.

Nostr feels like the first time I did self custody. Mind-blowing ramifications empowering folks.

I've spent more time on this than Twitter today. Am I doing it right?

On December 18, 1620, the English ship Mayflower docks at modern-day Plymouth, Massachusetts, and its passengers prepare to begin their new settlement, Plymouth Colony.
