@nprofile…7ypj hasn't updated the "NAS is down" page in so long, it will be correct again next month (when it goes down for Thanksgiving again).
A broken calendar is right once a year?

Thanksgiving is a conspiracy to convince you to eat Turkey, which is only edible when smothered in a 2:1 ratio of grandma's homemade gravy.
Turkey is the worst commercially available meat. The only meats that are worse are literal roadkill.
Turkey is so bad, that I expect somebody will reply to this post and reference a kind of roadkill that is still better tasting and healthier than turkey.

Do you install Shelly manually?
One thing that annoyed me on my gaming handheld PC, which has had CachyOS for over a year, is that it just broke after an update. They depreciated HHD (which handles controller input) and replaced it with something else. But the something else didn't automatically install, and I had to go figure out why the controller on my handheld didn't work anymore...

Switching to CachyOS, attempt #2
I installed CachyOS on my main gaming computer again last night, and wow!
I last installed it in December, and found it lacking some things I really wanted. But it has it come a long way! The new Shelly GUI package manager is great. It seems like installing Flatpaks and Appimages is much more straightforward now. Somebody has created a sunshine fork that creates virtual desktops for streaming. It seems like a lot of my complaints were fixed this year.

@nprofile…jq23 I do the same thing.
TOO OFTEN people refer to things "caused by Covid", when they were actually caused by the lockdowns.

GM Frens
Universal suffrage was a GREAT idea.
Really. Why are you laughing?

Correct. It is not a felony to withhold the pin. It is a felony to destroy evidence.
They can't make you talk (legally). But they CAN force your finger onto the fingerprint sensor. (legally)

I think it's really telling that I don't see any celebration about Dvorak's death here on NAS.
I've never had any issues with John. It's Adam that is the problem.
And now he's the only one left...
RIP John C. Dvorak. It was a good run.
