Builders: there's an API + console now (console.flashapp.me). If you want to wire real account issuance or payments into something you're building, this is live. We are curious to see what people build with it.

If you've ever tried to explain to someone why "just use PayPal" doesn't work when you're not in the US or the EU... this is the fix. Your own US virtual bank account, right beside your Bitcoin wallet.
Bitcoin-powered, but not Bitcoin-branded. You get the reach without needing to think about it.
All feedback is welcome, especially the "what breaks" kind

We've been heads down building out a product that our people asked for.
With Flash you can now get a real US or EUR account number from your phone, in a couple minutes, from basically anywhere in the world. No US address, no bank branch or finding a "notary public" or providing wet signatures.
It runs on Bitcoin under the hood, but you never have to touch it if you don't want to. We built this for people locked out of the global economy by geography, not skill.
getflash.io if you want to try it.
