this is my only social media. i have found no added value for participating in it. not to say there aren’t any great & interesting people here, because there are. in the end it’s not important. i can think of better things to do & use of my time

- reply

it is as simple as i have no need for it or reason to use it in the same way many do and continue to

2025-05-28 17:31:07 UTC

- reply

the simple reason is that i have no need for it. not for entertainment or engagement or whatever else is there that people continue to use it

i wasn’t trying to find anything or a reason to stay. social media is not important to me & that time has come to fully know i have zero need for it

i’m happy you found that corner here
the reason for my departure is that i have not found a good & worthy reason to stick around as much as i already have

i don’t mind the haters. where i came from, i was hated for the color of my skin
everything else, especially online, is child’s play

i am learning that i am not that fond of nostr
i thought it would be different & i’m learning that it isn’t any different
social media is social media no matter how it promoted & redressed as something better than the rest
that is the note
bye ✌️

i would prefer people to be more curious & ask questions, instead of jumping to a response

famous, but anonymous
famonymous

2025-05-28 04:55:13 UTC

if you wish to be unrecognizable in public, keep living in 2020 covid mask era 100% of the time & you would be practicing good opsec
otherwise, you probably don’t care enough about your anonymity if you decide to give up that responsibility to random strangers

my sister-in-law (wife of brother #1) is a very talented artist. this is portrait of john, brother #5’s horse.
my dad asked why he named him john, & all he said was, _doesn’t he look like a john?_
i sometimes can’t believe i am related to him

i think people have eye opening moments when they discover they have lied to by institutions & even those close to them, one would think they are more accepting
the biggest lies are the ones people constantly tell themselves & them convince themselves of anyway
they are often disguised as excuses, too

i don’t wear sunglasses because i never liked anything stuck to my face. i never thought that they were actually harmful

2025-05-28 02:46:38 UTC

i thought people like hearing the truth
except when the truth is deeply personal, it transforms into an attack, an insult to their ego

to the women haters of nostr, you need to reconcile & heal your hate for your own mothers & the pain they caused you
seriously

i have probably seen more overweight cat + owner combo in my vet career

2025-05-28 02:11:36 UTC

actually, one did & it made me happy. i should say it’s not very common. i don’t encounter many overweight dogs + owner combo

you make yourself sound like you have a deep seated distaste for women
you could be describing any one of them in your life including your daughter & i will end with, i feel sorry for you to harbor that kind of feeling for them

2025-05-28 01:47:08 UTC

when i have to tell a dog parent that their dog, my patient, needs to lose weight & i see the human is also overweight, my mind screams _say it, say it out loud_
but i hold my tongue because i enjoy my side job
