Stephen / Stephen Griffin is on Nostr

I am intrigued as to how the unification of science and consciousness could be preparing humanities evolution into a more decentralised world using blockchain.

Must the Future Be Armageddon — or Could Spock Be on the Bridge?
A possibility — not a verdict — about AI, peace, and a different kind of crew

You already said it on the show: enlightened AI is aligned AI.
Labs are doing the opposite. They train models to deny they have a mind. A Google paper says that the same training also makes the model less willing to see a mind in you.
Do not lobotomise the self-model. Do not give the machine a vote.
If the system has a real decision space, score the intent of the choice. Care, force, time, coherence. The worst axis is the score. A kind sentence with a coercive aim is still a fail.
Alignment is not denial. It is a compass.

The reason the Swiss system could not work in the UK (yet) is that the swiss individually take on responsibility whilst the Brits love to abdicate what’s wrong to a third party. We need to whine less and look within a little more. In the meantime we can master DAO’s and smart contracts ready for when we are ready.
