last week, had a fever went to store to buy some paracetamol.
I grab it and go to pay.
clerk: "What's your ID number ?"
me with super high fever: "Uh ? can i pay now ?"
clerk: "I need your ID number"
me: give random number
clerk: "Are you called x female name?"
me: "Look are you going to grab the cash and let me pay or do i have to walk to the next store 50 meters from here?"
clerk: "woo I'm just doing my job"
me: "I won't give you my fucking ID to buy some paracetamol cause i have fucking 40°C fever. What is it gonna be?"
clerk: "9.450 pesos sir."

you can use android without google play. It's more private that way than Apple or base Android.
You install a ROM and bang, no more google bloatware or anything you might not want in your phone

no, sats are the base foundation, and bitcoins are just a bunch of sats. Bitcoins do not exist outside of UI to display bigger sat values. Due to the nature of doing math with decimals sucking. Bitcoin doesn't use decimals just fakes it to look that way

Thanks you yankis for buying some Argentine Pesos
but remember this one from our government:
"Caputo is famous for having sold a 100-year bond (which was defaulted a few years later) and for selling a bond to Templeton with an 18% FIXED interest rate in pesos.
Templeton lost $2 billion USD in one day with that one."

Coordinated Universal Time
basically each place has a UTC plus or minus some number
that way people world wide can coordinate even if they live in different time zones
1630 utc -> 4:30 PM
if you live is UTC -2 then you rest 2 hours 2:30 PM at that's when the event will happen.
if you live UTC + 4 you add 4, so 8:30 PM
you can check which time zone you use locally easilly

the question is how does it manifest?
does Scotland and Wales separate from England?
it explode and there's chaos till someone gains power back with the help from EU in exchange for UK going back into EU?
maybe just a more simple all around chaos like Argentina 2001/2002 with just meaningless violence till it just dies out ?
at this point imo it just needs a single violent event where enough ppl just snap.

I don't see it that light, we are just in a new phase.
Bitcoin won't solve your problems, you solve your problems.
Bitcoin is a tool that allows the user to save and thus have stored time to solve problems.
It won't be magic, but it gives you an option to fight back.

to anyone living in europe, is there any app / company that allows you to deposit bitcoin and use it to pay there?
the problem is that i'm from Argentina and having a card that works there is either hard or I have to pay 30% tax on any purchase made which is stupid.
it can be KYC if it allows non EU citizen to use it

Covid:
I was going to work, had to fake a permit to use public transport since I was deemed "unessential" by the gov. But if i didn't go I wouldn't get paid.
while on the subway I had to show the police ID and the permit to enter, got inside and after two stations two police officers enter and start asking for ID and permit again, one man doesn't have one, get throw to the floor while crying that 'I have to work WTF do you want me to do? I have a family, you fucking soulless pieces of shit' police force him out of the place, I don't know what happened to him.
I couldn't work properly, I was shocked all day long. Got back home and tried to rationalize it, I couldn't. Something broke that day.
Luckily found "What Bitcoin Did" and found a way out, later on reached other rabbit holes.

any religion driven country is a danger. It's a slippery slope into supremacist totalitarianism and persecution even to it's own citizens and it corrupts the meaning of religion for the sake of state total power over life.
Both sides have deep fucked up people in positions of power that will stop at nothing till the other side is dead.
there's no good or bad, just pure evil and lots of innocent ppl mix in their meaningless power struggle that goes beyond the borders of any country in the region.
there's no future where the conflict stops, just a temporal pause that will be broken.
for anyone living there, get out, it will never be solved, save your self and your family.
for anyone not there, wake up to see which politicians will put the interest of religion over those of the country you live in no matter which side they support.
there' are rights on international borders, just whether you have a big enough army to stop ppl from being able to enforce theirs.
human rights mean nothing in face on religion zealots and no UN or whatever made up "agreement" will protect any life.
fuck religion institutions, fuck them ALL in all continents and countries.
religion is a matter of the heart and soul not law for a bunch of egocentric bastards to use to gain power over others.

not on the same scale, but on highschool once a kind teacher that really liked solar asked us (it was a technical school with electricity specialization) to calculate the cost of putting solar panel on her house so it'd have 24/7 solar powered electricity.
so solar + batieres + the cost of installing it all. She was a philosophy teacher, so she expected to be more expensive.
it turned out to be a disputatious amount more expensive, to the point that it'd have been cheaper to buy a new house after using it for 10 years levels of more expensive since Argentina didn't give any subsidies and we'd had had to import almost all of it. (so extra cost of tariff)
Solar surely must have improved ever since (we did that around 2010) but i doubt it became good enough even now xD

So for older stuff AI will make the search for solutions to already know problems easier, but there will still be need for new answers to unknown problems.

At this point Argentine and IMF relations are a joke
more than 55% loans from the IMF currently are to Argentina xD
but idk, somehow it seems the current administration might use the money to remove enough taxes to improve Argentina.
Time will tell and I have mixed feeling about my hated to the IMF and the great work Milei has done so far to remove a TON of stupid laws
for instance today he removed one that
"Placed a maximum production volume on agriculture tea and yerba plantations."
Like WTF it was actually ilegal to produce over a certain point of Tea, in areas where the only thing those areas produce and can produce is Tea due to climate advantages
