Hmm 🤔 with all the fast forward ⏩ to Dystopia hoopla in current events, I wonder if these fancy new fangled digital ID requirements will be the (unwanted surprise) anal probe the masses need to discover #Nostr?

I’m trying to get them to see what’s happening on their toys then try pivoting to their pockets.

Found an old email from summer 2023, where I asked my union & county retirement benefits department about making a small investment into #Bitcoin.
Outside of their automated replies, no one ever contacted me. #BTC was chopping around the $30K area at that time.
Look at us now 👀🤣
Oh well, sometimes all you can do is hand people a length of rope. Whether they use it to climb out of the rut their in…or hang themselves is up to them 🤷🏾‍♂️

Oh, I was just joking about how Cali keeps taxing the crap out of legal cannabis businesses.
It’s becoming so expensive, dome people are calling up old plugs & getting weed from them instead.
But, I also hear the govt is working to reverse their high tax policies some time soon.

Like @npub1gu4…907g & crew mentioned on their last show.
We all need to temp our exuberance with caution (& I’d even suggest a sprinkle-sprankle of cynicism) moving forward.
Politicians are gonna politic. The rich are gonna do all they can to not be displaced. If that means “welcoming” some #Bitcoin ‘ers into the fold & sharing a bit of influence rather than being removed…I can see it happening.
All I can ask is that we keep pushing forward. Keep listening to @npub1a2c…w83a @npub1gdu…6nak @npub1s33…252p & other well intentioned & like-minded folks.

So, as I sat at home listening to a rundown of the individual executive orders being signed, I noticed no mention of #RossUlbricht 😔
Just as I about to sink into the sewers of cynicism I constantly keep at bay when politicians are involved…my youngest jumped on my back & shoulders 😆
A thought crossed my mind:
#Bitcoin allows me to “be there” for my kids, their kids & all of their great grandkids. I can pass down my energy, my love from “now” to “later” & help them live a comfortable life, like a good Dad should.
So me & their #BTC happily lift my kiddos up onto my shoulders to reach higher & go further than #FlimsyFiat would ever allow.
