I have another theory: iirc they had made a case on Claude code that kf it detects that the user is frustrated, it would do some kind of boosing or something like that that would mean that users could do it on purpose which they probable don't want

I just remembered one of the weirdest conversations I had was here on nostr. The guy was anti government BUT he was in favor of ice deporting people without a trial.
It took me month to understand what he meant: you don't need a trial to determine if someone is black. As long as ice only deported people who do not look like the stereotypical white guy, it was fine.
Which is not only wrong but also stupid. How can people be so dense as to not realize that it giving the government that kind of poweris dangerous for EVERYONE. Yourself included.

Think about it. Imagine hiring someone and telling them "we can offer x. I know you can't leave off of this but we still want youto work for us".. that.. does not make sense. Why would they take this? The only reason is that they don't have a choice. Which is why it's wrong. All of it

Again. If the work you want me to do is do important that I have to work 8hs 5 days, theb clearly it's important. And I should be able to live doing that. If it's not that important then it should not be all day or not every day.

What is you point? Proof of work is unrelated. Nobody want to be paid too much for doing something unproductive.
What we want is to be paid a livable wage for working 8 hours. If the work we are doing is not worth that, then the position should not exist.
If I you want me to spend 8 hours a day picking rocks then it's clearly important. Because if it wasn't I could do it every other day or less.
The task being simple does not mean that the task is not important
And the higher ups are the ones that make way to much money for how little they produce. Not the bottom ones that do all the work

Which is it?. Pick one of your arguments:
A) if you don't make enough switch jobs
B) she is not making enough because she switched jobs
Not everyone can be a manager.
Proof of work has NOTHING to do with what we have been talking about.

Spoken like someone with money. Those people do not have free time to learn a new skill. They take second jobs. And no. They also can't JUST get abetter job. They are unskilled and uneducated workers with years of experience on one thing and that thing barely pays.
Poverty is a trap. The more poor you are the more you spend and the less you make.
A friend of my mom has been switching jobs for 10+ years. She still cannot afford rent and lives with her pares who also cannot afford rent.

That.. is the worst analogy I've heard. How is the market like a basketball court? Why would the ref having the ball be good for the ref? Who are the teams? Who are the players?
If the basketball match was politics then it would kind of make sense. The country is the court. Each team is one party and the ref are the anarchists who don't have a plan but they just want to stop the rest from playing

Is it just a browser of the sake of a browser? Or does it have any special integrations? I hate it when apps do that just because. I already have a browser. It has my extensions my setting my desktop sync. And since being a browser is their primary function they can focus on fixing the most random security vulnerabilities.
But having a browser, a social network and a wallet in the same app is a bad idea. A vulnerability in one affects the others

I have never been so offended as that time I got labeled a cop on simplex. I was chatting of topic with someone in a group. We realized we were bothering people do we device to go dm. I realized that DMing someone could let them know my real up, so I asked about it on the users group with the same profile because I did not care. Now the other person still DM me but justto say that he saw my message on that group and I'm clearly a glowie. So this MF thought I was a cop, thought I was so stupid I did not understand profiles, thought I was so stupid as to ask about my master plan on a public group, and then proceeded to DM me anyways

I just had an interesting thought... #nostr parental controls... Right now, not you keys not you account. So if I wanted to keep my kid safe on nostr, I'd have to have his nose and he would never be able to know if I kept a backup when he becomes an adult. But we could have a process that when an account is made, it's declared as a child of another one. Then there is a irreversible process by which the parent can let go of the account. The kid always is the only one with key access but the parent remains incontrol

I have my fun on nostr but I think ultimately it's doomed to fail. I believe it will either go the email way (a handful of big tech node operators giving away the expensive parts for free while classifying all small ones as spam), or require people to set up relays to maintain ecosystem health which means people will not use it.
The one true form of decentralization is p2p. Not relays, not federation
