@npub1sg6…f63m @npub1wmr…g240 I think building in these decentralized systems suffer because a lot of us can't quite make the jump from our normie, fiat jobs to work on it full time. But gosh do so many of us want to. Hopefully more of us are able to make the jump sooner than later.

In the quest for good UX and an effective search, I think there's a crucial need for emotional engagement and FUN — qualities that captivate and retain users. And not just "logic".
While rad innovations like #zaps and key pair encryption, clients, relays (etc) are awesome, they won't keep users around with just abstract logic (bitcoin/money).
I think it's up to us to pass down the cool influences that brought us here, if we're self aware enough to discern them. It's the art, music and stories we grew up that led a lot of us here. But it's mostly overlooked.
Recognizing talent, like the UX designer behind @npub1xnf…lpr5, and influential figures in these spaces is crucial. If we want Nostr to #compete.
There's a chance this might take another decade/new generation. And zooming out further, to really compete is to completely shift perspectives and worldviews. This is web5.
And so I see it as up to us to pass on the influences that got us here.
And tip your local client-tender folks. @npub1xts…kk5s @npub1gcx…nj5z

Cardio is hardio. The JBL 660 headphones are better rated than the 760s. Pixel 8 Pro; must run Graphene. Rosario Dawson is a mega babe. AI pirates.
Some electronics run off of either AC or DC. Polarity - is this magnetism or phase? What is phase? Can electricity be magnetized?
I believe in Harvey Dent. Hawkeye is Jeremy Renner. Freddie Prince Jr. Tom Hardy was a good Eddie Brock. Rose gold. Skelton watches are cool. She's falling asleep. Too much paprika. Anime skeletor.

Interesting to hear your feedback. I haven't extensively tested it. I'm more curious about 3 things:
1) Why use servers opposed to P2P? What are the pros and cons? Which leads to...
2) Where exactly is the data stored? On these servers? Or my phones memory?
3) Who runs these servers/relays and WHY and what can they access?
Wish I could verify the code myself to all of it.

Incentives! Some of my school district management pulled me, unexpectedly on a Monday morning, into a meeting and pointedly asked me to give them a "wow factor" idea of how to spend a large sum of $ on technology.
I took a deep breath and hard pause... and then essentially pitched Bitcoin mining and heat waste recovery. They all took notes and discussed.
Out of body moment.
Found out later there's a corporate donor/tax write down wanting to also create some good PR for themselves. So looks like STEM high performance computers and 3D printers will be the end result. BUT still got to directly pitch the idea to all the decision makers. Raised eyebrows around.
So, regardless, am going to heat my classroom via reknewable energy s9 miners this winter and be loud n proud about it. ✅️🌿
