I'm also curious about this! Richard Dorson's 'Folktales Told Around The World' claims this is a Trinidadian folk tale called 'The Poor Brahmin'; in the images' heavily abridged version, the dialect is edited and all of the Indo-Trinidadian names in the original story are removed. It is possible this may instead be an originally Indian folk tale that Dorson collected from an Indo-Caribbean storyteller, but perhaps a folklorist may know more! Help @npub1w5k…ttl8 & I solve this mystery!

I am only intrigued by this study because it implies that it is possible and therefore virtuous to discover ways to poison text available online as a defense against being sampled against one’s will. I wanna know how to make my blogs & newsletters rotten ASAP.

turns out that Ubers are upsettingly expensive ways of getting around cities, so if you’ve liked the work I’ve been doing this last few weeks a Ko-Fi or PayPal donation would be a great boon
