Global M2 Money Supply vs BTC
Bitcoin is still right on track with Global M2.
$120,000+ by the end of May?
Will BTC get a huge move up around the May 24th like Global M2 shows? If so, it's likely BTC breaks into new ATHs. The FOMO at that time will be palpable due to all the sidelined doubters that thought the cycle was over.
I'd like to point out to any doubters of this correlation that it has already proven useful. During the past ~5 months, while bitcoin bled, many were worried that the cycle was over, Global M2 correctly predicted the move up from $76k to $105k (April 8 to today). This helped many avoid making the wrong decision of selling or assuming we are in a bear market. Thus, it's already proven valuable. Noting this for future detractors during *expected* non-correlated periods.

Gold has now entered its blow-off stage. Such rapid advancement will come to a terminal top, but attempting to pick a high can be very expensive. Blow off tops can extend well beyond a bear's ability to meet margin calls

Call me crazy but I set some $ETH buy orders between $1200 - $1300.
Currently ETH is $1551.
Let's see how I do. Willing to buy more if it goes lower.

Rally: March 25 - May 14 (and counting)

2025-03-05 15:10:52 UTC

The Global M2 Money Supply chart just printed another vertical line. (See far right side of the chart. Yellow line.)
The rally for stocks, bitcoin, crypto is going to be epic.
March 25th is the approximate date. https://image.nostr.build/846a42f1099bb997bd8cca3b2ece6b5b8ed167492430a83456f122ee353bacb5.jpg

I think the top is not in.
Why? Many are calling $109k the top.
It's GOOD that many are saying the top is in. If many people weren't doing this, then it couldn't go higher.
Only when everyone is calling for "higher" will it be the actual top.
It's market reverse psychology.

I’d personally remove $XRP and $SOL from a Crypto Strategic Reserve, since this is a *national* reserve.
Why?
Solana has had a great number of outages in its history. That’s not fitting for the reserve of a nation.
Ripple Labs regularly dumps XRP on its holders that it gifted to itself in an early *missing* portion of the blockchain ledger. That’s not a fair distribution. It means the founders of Ripple Labs get wealthy off the back of Americans. #note1ecr…ux6j

Trump just explicitly stated the following crypto will be purchased by the U.S. for its Crypto Strategic Reserve:
$BTC, $ETH, $XRP, $SOL, $ADA
Let the second half of the bull run commence. https://image.nostr.build/03a95ae6fa9f4f1c7e97466fe5e8a70378d54512dc9af16f8cc55840f6aefcb0.jpg

10/➮ Leading Market Players
✧ The most bullish factor remains that leading market players are actively accumulating
✧ WorldLiberty, Michael Saylor, BlackRock - these leading companies are massively building positions
✧ They are clearly not doing this without a strategy and just for no reason

2025-02-26 15:10:04 UTC

9/➮ FTX Payouts
✧ Let’s also remember the FTX payouts, which have already started
✧ In the next couple of weeks, about ~$7B will be paid out, and these will also be reinvested into the market
✧ This will also give a nice boost to the market's growth

8/➮ Global Net Liquidity Index
✧ There's also an indicator that tracks major central banks' assets and FED reserves
✧ Right now, we are witnessing its reversal, which accordingly signals a possible market reversal as well
✧ For now, it’s in correction too

7/➮ Stablecoin Index
✧ On the other hand, we have the stablecoin index, which is still far from reaching levels seen in previous cycles
✧ This index indicates new capital entering the crypto market
✧ And at the moment, it is only starting to grow

6/➮ BTC as a Macro Asset
✧ Everyone still believes that if BTC pumped like this, alts will pump somewhere soon too—but no
✧ BTC has now partly become a macro asset, globally recognized
✧ That's why it can grow, but crypto itself doesn't necessarily follow
✧ On the other hand, when BTC drops, alts drop too
✧ This is due to an oversupply of alts on the market, so it’s crucial to finally understand: alts will pump, BUT definitely not all of them, it's not 2021 anymore. Choose wisely.

5/➮ Bybit's Hack
✧ The biggest hack in crypto history that dumped ETH
✧ Bybit was hacked, and $1.5B in ETH was stolen, which is a huge amount
✧ Hacks always negatively impact both overall sentiment and the market itself

4/➮ Trump - ProCrypto President
✧ Trump gave us huge expectations: bullish on crypto, never sell your Bitcoin, BTC reserve
✧ But in reality, he has now stepped away from crypto and hardly mentions it anymore
✧ This has also negatively affected the market at the moment
✧ However, we remember that the U.S. BTC reserve has already been confirmed

3/➮ An excess of scams
✧ Never in any cycle has there been so much scam activity, and so openly at that
✧ Every third celebrity without money is talking about crypto and launching a token on SOL
✧ At the same time, they rug it by -99% within a few days, doing it blatantly
✧ Such events negatively impact sentiment
https://m.primal.net/PMHx.png

2/➮ Disbelief in Altseason
✧ The prolonged absence of an obvious and straightforward altseason has negatively affected retail investors
✧ Now, it feels like no one believes in altseason anymore
✧ Most have moved to the meme casino, while the rest have simply given up on alts
✧ This has led to a loss of hope, sentiment, and attention
https://m.primal.net/PMHv.png

2025-02-26 15:04:12 UTC

- reply

To do that, the most likely scenario, in my view, is a slow decline over a month or more - just enough to make believers lose hope, but not enough to stop them from FOMOing back into alts later.
That’s why I’m slowly starting to build positions, since I believe there’s still plenty of time and prices will likely go even lower.
Here are all the key factors affecting the market rn and why I think this way:

I can't say that retail is fully trapped yet, and I think bullish sentiment is still strong, so I don't see why MM would make this dip the start of a bear market.
It's important to understand that the market maker's goal is to extract as much money from retail (us) as possible.

We are currently between Anger and Depression stages or at Belief/Thrill stage, imo (which is almost the same)
✧ While for many, this becomes the phase of exiting the market, for me, it's a phase of opportunities
✧ Here's my thesis:

1/➮ Right now, it’s really hard to determine what stage of the cycle we’re in:
• On one hand, we haven’t had a true altseason (though we did get a meme season)
• On the other hand, Bitcoin has already surpassed its previous all-time high by 1.5x (or only by 1.5x)
• And on top of that, the bull run has already lasted 12 months since the last ATH - making it already longer than every past bull run

$ETH bull run price target $15k-$16k (green box)
A few people, like @intocryptoverse, think ETH may "go home" (meaning: re-visit that lower white trend line). [see source in next reply]
I personally don't think it will do so, as we're too far along in the bull run cycle.
What do you think ETH will do?
1. head to the green box, or
2. head to the lower white line? https://image.nostr.build/0fd38e02d451edbd74f8e661d4c670a9fa1952ce78ec5ac2947126d45b774052.jpg
